In a time where information is constantly within reach, the battle for that information is also becoming increasingly fierce. The enemy thinks they can manipulate the internet, but underestimates the power of a well-informed community. From fake news to targeted disinformation campaigns, the online world has become a battlefield where truth and lies regularly collide. Yet we as users and chosen ones have the power to remain critical, check sources and use technology to arm ourselves against this. Together we can ensure that manipulation does not stand a chance and that the internet remains a place of freedom, fairness and transparency.
Google is a search engine known for its advanced algorithm, speed and user-friendliness. There are several good search engines, but I have found that Google works well with the universe.
Nowadays when you search for something in Google you often see a piece of AI text in the search results. That text creates AI by collecting information from both good and bad websites. AI makes a summary of this information and so it may happen that there is also incorrect information in the text, keep that in mind.
You may have already noticed that when you search for something in Google, the top result and sometimes the second result immediately contains the correct information and everything that follows is not that reliable or even nonsense. Now you can say that it is due to Google's algorithm, but I have experienced that the universe shows me the right information in this way. Sometimes I click through on the results below, but that usually makes no sense.
YouTube works in almost the same way, in a search the top result is correct. Even if you go to YouTube without searching for anything, relevant videos that apply to you will be shown.
